Dr.Fred Brown & Dr.Christopher Reeves

All of our Doctors are graduates of North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Brown and his wonderful wife Regina have two sons Dillan and Colby. They have a blue heeler named Bandit and 8 horses. His hobbies are horseback riding with his family, fishing, cowboy mounted shooting, camping, and just spending time with family.

Dr. Reeves and his wonderful bride Kari have two daughters Anna and Abby. They have two dogs, a rambunctious Jack Russell “Terror” named Ginger and a hyperactive German Shorthair pointer named Daisy. His hobbies include spending time outdoors with his family. He enjoys hunting, fishing, gardening, golfing, running, biking, and hiking. He is currently in the process of section hiking the Appalachian Trail.

Dr. Chelsea Brown, Part-time Veterinarian: Dr. Brown and her husband Josh have a young boxer mix named Addy, a cat named Brittainz, and a horse she is currently training. She enjoys horseback riding, running, Zumba, hiking, RV camping, boating and working the family cattle farm with her husband and their family.

Kimberly Blackburn, RVT: Kimberly and her husband Troy  have a one year old son named Carter. They also have a crazy lab mix named Daisy, a sweet dachshund called Snickers, and a cat named Taylor. Kimberly graduated from Gaston College in 2007 as a Registered Veterinary Technician. She enjoys camping, going to church and spending time with friends and family.

Dana Wiley, Veterinary Assistant:  Dana, her husband Dennie and her son Jarrett have two cats named Blaze and Kitty. She likes riding horses, white water rafting, boating, cycling and camping.

Kelly Payne, RVT: Kelly has been married to her husband Benji for 9 years. They have two kids, Tiffany who is 8 years old and Miles who is 4 years old. They have a dog named Molly,  a turtle, a mule, horses and goats.

Dani Stewart, RVT: Dani loves living next door to her mom and dad Ethel and Charlie and her brother Chris and sister-in-law Amanda. Her two nieces are Breanna and Eyra Mae. Her pets are dogs Sambora and Gypsy and horses Classy and Lacey. Dani participates in a singing ministry at nursing homes with her family. She enjoys church activities and competing at horse shows with her American Paint Horse Lacey.

Nicole Thibault, Veterinary Assistant: Nicole and her husband Derek have a son named Derek. They have a dog named Duke and two cats Squirt and Aslan. Nicole has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences and Zoology from Florida Atlantic University. She is originally from Florida and has been in North Carolina for 8 years. She enjoys reading and cooking.

Kim Welborn, RVT: Kim and her husband Neal  have 2 cats named Tiger and Lola and 2 dogs named Chloe and Darla. Kim graduated from Gaston College as a Registered Veterinary Technician.

 Office Staff

 Carrie Baker, Office Manager:  Carrie is a 2008 graduate of Surry Community college with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Accounting. She has an 12 year old  dalmation named Lucky. She enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. 

Jeannie Lowe, Receptionist: Jeannie has 7 dogs: Daisy, Sunny,  Taco, Collin, Teddy, Roxie, and Sigmond; and 2 cats, Prissy and Ron. Jeannie is a 2004 graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel and Textiles and a minor in Marketing. Her hobbies are reading, camping, fishing, hiking and gardening.

Receptionist Jeannie Lowe plays with Buffy and Axel.

Katie Johnson, Kennel Technician: Katie has a Bichon Frise named Leo, 2 cats named  Romeo and Isabella and a rabbit called Tilley Mae. Katie's hobbies include dance and horseback riding.

Austin Collins, Kennel Assistant: Austin is our part-time kennel helper.
